Out on the trail recently we caught up with Kathleen Price and Margaret Borg, both part of Ally Financial’s Environmental Sustainability team.
Ally officially launched their sustainability office in 2021. Their commitment to “Do It Right” extends to the conservation of environmental resources to work towards a sustainable future for the company’s customers, employees, shareholders and communities.
Price is Environmental Sustainability Risk Executive for Ally. She says, “At Ally Financial one of the things we’re really focused on is environmental conservation. The Carolina Thread Trail gets people out into nature and helps them see the impact and importance of the environment for our health and wellbeing and for building strong communities.”
Kathleen’s favorite trail: the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, especially right around the Metropolitan. “This is where my kids rode their bikes back and forth when they were little.”
Margaret’s favorite trail: the Irwin Creek/Stewart Creek Greenways. “This is one of the few safe pedestrian areas in the historic West End. My dog Chewy Moose Bear and I walk these greenways almost every day.”
