Volunteer Spotlight: Susan Biggers

Susan has been volunteering with us at the Carolina Thread Trail for nearly six years. She has helped with everything from painting the foyer in our office to working at a face-painting table at Popup Picnic. Recently, she and her husband, Greg, painted the mural on the pillars at South Fork Trail. Susan has also worked with our staff to GPS trails for our online map.

When asked about why she enjoys volunteering with the Thread Trail, she said, “It’s our responsibility to take care of our beautiful community. If not us, then who?”
