As a participant with the Catawba Lands Conservancy (CLC) and/or Carolina Thread Trail (CTT), I acknowledge and understand that there are risks associated with my participation in this event and/or activity including but not limited to: bodily injury, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, misuse or failure of equipment, drowning, collision with another water craft, bike, person, or object in the water or on the ground. I hereby waive, release and forever hold harmless CLC and CTT, their officers, directors, representatives, agents and staff from any and all liability they may have, and from any and all loss, cost, expenses, claims, causes of action, and/or demands that I may suffer or incur due to injury to or damage sustained by me or by property of mine in connection with my participation with CLC and/or CTT related to this event and/or activity.
