Implementation Grant Program and Funding Sources
Communities and partner organizations are empowered to create and implement their own community-based trails, with financial and technical support from the Thread Trail. The Thread Trail offers implementation grants that can serve as catalytic funding and help attract public funding sources.
The Thread Trail is now accepting grant applications on a rolling schedule. There are no specific due dates for applications. Level of funding availability differs by county, due to some donors’ geographic restrictions on the use of funds. Therefore you are strongly encouraged to speak with Carolina Thread Trail staff before filling out an application. The grant guidelines provided here explain the program.
